I got my copy of the Halleluyah Scriptures probably a month or so ago, and I’ve been blessed enough to have been given the drive to keep in it so as to break it in. I’ve got to admit.
It’s absolutely fantastic! It’s a word for word translation, that seeks to deliver the true intent of the scriptures. There are certain words that are taken from pagan origin throughout the years and throughout many translations. The fact that they replace these words with their hebraic equivalent, and the fact that they show the original hebraic names of each book, it’s truly a beautiful thing.
I’ve been trying to learn hebrew lately, and the Halleluyah Scriptures is definitely giving me a lot of help regarding that, since all of the places, people and things that it displays in the original hebrew. It even gives you notation along with each hebraic word so you know how to accurately pronounce it in the original language.
If you are really into reading and researching the word of our Creator, the Halleluyah Scriptures is absolutely the translation for you! I can’t wait until I can afford the parallel with Hebrew/English with the cowhide cover! If only they had a Hebrew/English in the OT, and Greek/English also in the NT then it’d be absolutely perfect. It’s close enough though. You won’t be sorry for ordering yours!
