“Give thanks to YHWH! For goodness, For His kindness is everlasting. Let the redeemed of YHWH say, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary, And gathered out of the lands, From east and from west, From north and from south.” – Tehillim/Psalms 107:1-3.  Praise be to the Most High for the remarkable work that has been accomplished in extending aid and support to orphans and widows across the world. This endeavor, rooted in compassion and a deep sense of responsibility, has transformed countless lives, bringing trust and a sense of dignity to those who have long been marginalized by society. The projects orphans and widows programs have been going for close to 15 years. 

The world we live in today is filled with pain, suffering, and overwhelming need. Across every continent, there are those who are marginalized, overlooked, and forgotten—people whose struggles often go unseen by the masses but never escape the watchful eyes of our Father in Shamayim. Their cries may not be heard by worldly rulers, but YHWH hears them. Their burdens may be heavy, but He has not forsaken them. And in His sacred wisdom, He has chosen us—His people—to be vessels of His love, provision, and healing.

Through unwavering dedication, the HalleluYah Scriptures project, along with its network of supporters, has established numerous self-sufficiency initiatives aimed at providing sustainable solutions to the pressing needs of orphans and widows. These initiatives are not just about offering temporary relief; they are about empowering individuals to reclaim their lives and build a future filled with promise and opportunity.

The Scriptures are filled with reminders that YHWH’s heart is deeply moved by the plight of the vulnerable. We live in a world where countless individuals are struggling to survive. Many of these individuals suffer in silence, unseen and unheard by the world. But they are never forgotten by YHWH.

The journey to achieve these milestones has been one of immense trust and perseverance. Recognizing the acute vulnerabilities faced by orphans and widows, especially in impoverished and persecuted regions, the project has prioritized creating programs that address both immediate needs and long-term sustainability. This dual approach ensures that beneficiaries receive the urgent help they require while also gaining the tools and resources necessary to thrive independently.

In many parts of the world, orphans and widows face severe hardships, often exacerbated by social stigmatization and economic deprivation. Without a primary breadwinner, families can quickly descend into a cycle of poverty, making it incredibly challenging to break free without external assistance. The HalleluYah Scriptures project has responded to this critical need by designing initiatives that provide practical, life-changing support.

And in His sacred plan, He has given us, His people, the responsibility to act—to serve, to give, and to uplift those in need. He calls His people to be His hands and feet, to act in compassion, and to bring justice where there is suffering.

When we extend a helping hand, when we give with open hearts, when we pray for the suffering and stand in the gap for those who are weak, we become vessels of YHWH’s love. We are not merely offering physical relief, but we are demonstrating His presence in their lives, showing them that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

Those that work with the very poor have dedicated their life to caring for the orphans and widows in his community, providing them with shelter, food, education, and spiritual guidance. Their work is not easy, but it is a labor of love—one that has impacted countless lives. The orphans, many of whom have lost their parents to sickness and hardship, find a safe haven under his care. The widows, who often face severe struggles in providing for themselves and their families, receive the support they need to live with dignity.

One of the key components of these self-sufficiency programs is healing, education with His Word being Number 1. By establishing educational initiatives, the project ensures that orphans and widows can access learning opportunities that were previously out of reach. These educational programs range from basic literacy and numeracy classes to vocational training and higher education scholarships. The aim is to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to secure employment or start their own businesses, thereby gaining financial independence and stability.

Numerous self-sufficiency initiatives have been established, offering sustainable solutions to meet the pressing needs of those who have been marginalized by society. These initiatives range from livestock programs to agricultural ventures, encompassing everything from food production to the provision of clean water through strategically placed water tanks.

In this symphony of compassion and service, we lift our voices in thankfulness to the Most High for His provision and guidance every step of the way. It is through His boundless love that we have been able to extend a helping hand to those who find themselves in desperate circumstances, unable to provide for themselves or their families.

We recognize that without His marvelous intervention, none of this would have been possible without the Father and you, His people. Helping orphans, widows, and the truly poor and needy is not easy but worthwhile. Thank you to those who have a heart to help the truly poor and needy brothers and sisters in this world. The livestock programs, for example, provide families with a sustainable source of food and income, allowing them to become self-sufficient and improve their quality of life. Agricultural ventures have empowered communities to grow their own food, ensuring that they have access to nutritious meals and reducing their dependence on external aid. The provision of clean water through strategically placed water tanks has been a game-changer, transforming the lives of countless individuals who previously had to walk long distances to fetch water from contaminated sources.

This project not only improve physical health but also restore a sense of normalcy and stability to their lives. In the face of adversity, the resilience and strength of these individuals shine through. Their stories are a covenant to the transformative power of love and compassion. No child or widow should go to bed hungry. Every month, we supply essential food items such as rice, beans, vegetables, and other staples, ensuring that they have enough to eat. They are provided with clothing, shoes, blankets and soaps etc. Many of these orphans have suffered from malnutrition in the past, and it is a barak to see them grow stronger and healthier through consistent nourishment.

Many of these children and widows have little more than the clothes on their backs. Some walk barefoot on rough terrain, exposing them to infections and injuries. Through your support, we provide new clothing and shoes, allowing them to walk with dignity and comfort.

Life can be unpredictable, and emergencies arise. When a widow falls ill or an orphan requires medical attention, we step in to cover hospital visits, medicine, and other urgent needs. This is crucial for ensuring their well-being and survival.

This season is not just a time of reflection but also a celebration of the tangible evidence of YHWH’s care and generosity. The community, united in their trust and trust in the Most High, witnesses the miraculous transformation of their environment. Livestock, once scarce and frail, now roam robust and healthy, a living covenant to the nourishment provided by the Creator. Similarly, the fields, which had struggled to yield, now overflow with crops, providing sustenance and security for the people. We have seen a number of new born calfs and goats and chickens.

“Come, let us sing to YHWH! Let us raise a shout to the Rock of our deliverance. Let us come before His face with thanksgiving; Let us raise a shout to Him in song. For YHWH is a great El, And a great Sovereign above all mighty ones. In whose hand are the depths of the earth; The mountain peaks are His also.”- Tehillim/Psalms 95:1-4

As families gather around tables laden with the fruits of their labor, there is a deep sense of connection to the land and to each other. Each meal is a reminder of the cycle of life and the amazing intervention that sustains it. The children, playing nearby, are the future beneficiaries of these birekoth, growing up in an environment where the presence of YHWH’s bounty is a daily reality. They hear stories of struggle and perseverance, learning that their prosperity is a gift to be cherished and a foundation to build upon.

This atmosphere of thankfulness extends beyond the physical birekoth of livestock and crops. It touches every aspect of community life, fostering a spirit of unity and collective joy. The people are not only grateful for the material abundance but also for the spiritual nourishment that strengthens their bonds and reinforces their trust. They gather in prayer and song, expressing their gratitude through worship and reinforcing their commitment to live in accordance with YHWH’s will.

Their words remind everyone that the current birekoth are part of a larger amazing plan, encouraging a deeper appreciation and stewardship of the gifts received. They teach that gratitude should not only be felt but also demonstrated through acts of kindness and generosity towards others, particularly those still struggling.

A postal agent from Uganda embarks on a journey to visit one of the largest projects we have worked on for a number of years, and his dedicated group, eager to witness firsthand the remarkable work being accomplished within this special community. This trip is not merely a routine excursion but a pilgrimage of sorts, a covenant to the transformative impact of collective effort and unwavering dedication. It is an encouraging time as well.

As the community moves forward, this season of thankfulness serves as a foundation of trust and resilience. The memory of amazing provision and the joy of shared birekoth become a source of strength in times of future challenges. The people are reminded that they are not alone; they are part of a larger amazing narrative that promises provision and abundance.

These remarkable individuals, who have been marginalized and overlooked by society, stood as pillars of strength and inspiration, embodying the very essence of perseverance and trust. Their stories of survival and determination in the face of overwhelming odds were both humbling and inspiring, reminding us of the profound impact that love and support can have on an individual’s life.

Throughout the celebrations, we were constantly reminded of the importance of our collective responsibility to support and uplift those who are most vulnerable. It was a time to reaffirm our commitment to standing by the side of the widows and orphans as they navigate life’s challenges. As we danced and shared meals, it was impossible not to feel a deep sense of connection and unity with everyone present. This connection transcended cultural, social, and economic barrier, uniting us in a shared mission to create a world where every individual is valued, respected, and given the opportunity to thrive. The sight of widows and orphans smiling, laughing, and enjoying themselves was a powerful reminder of the impact of our work and the importance of continuing to push forward, no matter the obstacles we may face.

The festivities also served as a moment of reflection on the journey we have embarked on together. We looked back on the challenges we have overcome, the milestones we have reached, and the countless lives we have touched through our efforts. It was a time to recognize the dedication and hard work of everyone involved in the project, from the volunteers who tirelessly give their time and energy, to the donors whose generosity makes it all possible. Each person’s contribution, no matter how big or small, has played a crucial role in the success of our mission.

As the visit comes to an end after a few days the postal agent left with a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper connection to the community they serve. They carry with them the stories and experiences of Brother Phillips and his group, as well as a strengthened resolve to support their ongoing efforts.

Furthermore, the celebration underscored the importance of community development. We witnessed firsthand the positive impact of our various initiatives, from livestock programs and agricultural ventures to educational opportunities and health clinics. These programs are not just about providing temporary relief; they are about creating sustainable solutions that empower individuals and foster self-reliance. Seeing the widows and orphans thriving and actively participating in these initiatives was a powerful covenant to the effectiveness of this approach.

In honoring the widows and orphans, we also recognized the broader impact of this work. These individuals are not just beneficiaries of our support; they are active contributors to their communities, role models for others facing similar challenges, and living proof that with the right support, anyone can overcome adversity and achieve great things as all comes from the Father through you His people. Their stories of resilience and determination inspire us to continue striving for a world where everyone has the opportunity to live with dignity and purpose.

As the celebrations drew to a close, we felt a renewed sense of purpose and determination. They reaffirmed our commitment to standing in unity with the most vulnerable, to providing them with the support they need to build better lives, and to celebrating every victory along the way, no matter how small.

Our journey over the years has led us to some of the most remote and challenging corners of the world, but nowhere have the needs been more urgent and poignant than in India, Africa, the Philippines, and numerous other third-world countries. These regions, steeped in rich cultural heritage and profound historical significance, have presented us with formidable challenges that have tested the limits of our resolve and ingenuity.

In these lands, the cost of land has been prohibitively high, posing a significant barrier to establishing sustainable self-sufficiency programs for our beneficiaries. This financial hurdle has made it nearly impossible to secure the necessary resources and infrastructure needed to support long-term agricultural ventures, livestock programs, and other initiatives aimed at fostering economic independence and stability.

For many years, our group has been unwaveringly dedicated to serving the needs of widows and orphans, pouring our hearts and efforts into uplifting and supporting these vulnerable members of our community. This journey, marked by countless acts of compassion and service, has been both challenging and deeply rewarding. As we reflect on the path we have traveled together, there is a profound sense of joy and accomplishment in witnessing the positive impact we have made in the lives of those we serve.

Furthermore, the circumstances faced by orphans in these regions add another layer of complexity to our efforts. Many of these children have been tragically deprived of parental guidance and support, leaving them vulnerable and ill-equipped to engage in the labor-intensive work required for sustainable development projects. Their plight underscores the critical need for comprehensive support systems that not only address immediate material needs but also provide the nurturing care and educational opportunities necessary for their long-term well-being and success.

Despite these challenges, our commitment to serving these communities remains unwavering. We have witnessed firsthand the resilience and determination of the people we serve, whose hearts and fortitude inspire us daily. By providing seeds, tools, and training, we have enabled many to cultivate their own land, producing food for personal consumption and sale. These initiatives have not only alleviated hunger but also instilled a sense of pride and accomplishment in those who participate. Watching barren fields transform into thriving gardens is a covenant to the resilience and determination of the human spirit.

In addition to these self-sufficiency programs, we have also prioritized the provision of clean water through strategically placed water tanks. Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, yet many widows and orphans live in areas where this basic necessity is scarce. Our efforts to install water tanks in these communities have had a profound impact, reduced the prevalence of waterborne diseases and freed up time that was previously spent on long and arduous journeys to fetch water. This has allowed children to attend school more regularly and widows to engage in productive activities that contribute to their household income.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to expanding our reach and deepening our impact in these vulnerable communities. We recognize that the road ahead will continue to be fraught with challenges, but we are steadfast in our belief that together, with the support of our donors, partners, and dedicated team members, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most. Our goal is not only to provide immediate relief but also to establish long-term self- sufficiency programs. We believe that with the right support and resources, these children can have a future filled with love and opportunity. Providing seeds, tools, and training to cultivate crops that will feed the orphans and create an ongoing food supply. Establishing small-scale poultry and goat farming, allowing them to raise animals for both nutrition and income. Teaching essential skills such as tailoring, carpentry, and farming to enable young people to become self-sufficient and break the cycle of poverty. Supporting micro-businesses that can provide steady income, such as selling handmade crafts or agricultural products.

The team’s work with widows and orphans is not just about meeting physical needs; it is also about offering emotional and spiritual support. Many of those we serve have experienced profound loss and trauma, and their journey towards healing is often fraught with difficulties. Their inquisitive nature sparks enlightening conversations and fosters a deeper understanding of spiritual truths. Through our interactions, we have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of nurturing young minds with knowledge and compassion.

Children, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, bring a unique perspective and depth to our work. Their resilience in the face of adversity inspires us and reaffirms our belief in the inherent goodness of humanity. They remind us of the importance of fostering a nurturing environment where they can learn about the Father’s teachings and grow spiritually.

The positive impact of our efforts is evident in the stories of transformation we witness every day. Widows who once felt trustless and abandoned now speak of renewed purpose and strength. Orphans who faced uncertain futures now have dreams and aspirations, buoyed by the support and opportunities provided to them. These stories are a source of immense joy and motivation, reaffirming our commitment to this vital work.

Moreover, our engagement with the poor has broadened our perspective and deepened our empathy. We have learned invaluable lessons about resilience, humility, and the strength of the human spirit from individuals who face daily challenges with love and fortitude. Their stories of perseverance and trust serve as powerful reminders of the transformative impact of trust and community support.

Seeing the joy on the faces of these children and the relief in the eyes of the widows reaffirms why this mission is so vital. Our initiatives in Uganda are about more than just short-term aid—they are about creating long-term solutions that uplift and empower. Through your support, we have been able to implement livestock programs, agricultural ventures, food production, and clean water initiatives. These projects are designed to equip widows and orphans with the means to sustain themselves, providing them with the tools to build a better future.

Serving the Father through our work with the poor is not without its challenges, yet each obstacle is met with determination and trust. We are continuously humbled by the trust and gratitude expressed by those we serve, affirming that our efforts are making a meaningful difference in their lives. Every interaction, every moment of shared learning, reinforces our commitment to uphold the dignity and rights of every individual, regardless of their circumstances.

Our hearts are deeply moved as we reach out to seek your support for Brother Phillips and his dedicated group, who have been tirelessly working to care for orphans and widows in their community. These vulnerable individuals, many of whom have endured unimaginable suffering, are in dire need of assistance. The 34 orphans and 40 widows in Brother Phillips’ care are special and precious, and their stories reflect the harsh realities faced by countless others across Africa.

It is the time of worship, encouragement, and rejoicing in YHWH’s provision. Seeing these precious children and strong, resilient widows smile with thanksgiving was a reminder of why this mission is so critical. Caring for orphans and widows is not an option—it is a command from YHWH. These precious lives are not forgotten in His eyes, and He calls on His people to be their providers and protectors.

“for the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the esteem of YHWH, as the waters cover the sea!” Habaqquq/Habakkuk 2:14

Many of these orphans have endured immense hardship, but through your support, they have found belief, love, and the strength to keep going. The widows, who once felt abandoned, now have a community that stands by them. Together, we are not just providing aid—we are building a family in YHWH.

The orphans, who number 34, are children without parents, left to navigate a world filled with hardship and uncertainty. Many of these children have lost their parents to acts of violence, including murder and torture, which are tragically common in parts of Africa. The absence of parental protection and guidance has left these young hearts vulnerable and exposed to further suffering. In addition to the violence, the pervasive poverty in their communities means that even the most basic needs, such as food, clothing, and shelter, are often unattainable. These children have been forced to grow up too quickly, carrying burdens that no child should have to bear.

We cannot do this without you. As we raise funds to support Brother Philips, the 34 orphans, and the 44 widows for this year and last year and for Daniel’s family, we ask that you consider standing with us. Similarly, the 44 widows in this group care are enduring their own trials. In many African cultures, widows are often marginalized and neglected, left to fend for themselves with little to no support. The economic strain on their families can be overwhelming, leading to situations where families simply cannot afford to care for them. This has resulted in many widows being abandoned and left to die, unable to provide for themselves or access the care they need. Their suffering is compounded by the grief of losing their husbands, and the isolation they face can be devastating.

We are excited to share with you a new mission that has been placed on our hearts—an opportunity to extend our hands and hearts to the people of Malawi, Africa. We have recently connected with a dedicated group of brothers who are tirelessly working to care for orphans and spread the Truth across Malawi and its neighboring countries. Their needs are urgent, and we cannot do this without your help.

Currently, our new partners in Malawi are caring for 30 orphans who are in desperate need of food, clothing, and basic necessities. These children, who have already endured great hardship, rely entirely on the kindness and generosity of those willing to stand in the gap. Hunger is a daily struggle, and access to clean water, medical care, and education is limited. We will be sharing about this new group soon.

All the orphans & widow groups have shown remarkable dedication and compassion in their mission to support these orphans and widows. Despite their own limited resources, they have committed themselves to providing love, care, and sustenance to those in desperate need. Their work is a covenant to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of community. However, the scale of the need is immense, and they cannot do it alone. They require the support of compassionate individuals like you to continue their vital work.

The Fathers love and justice to those who have been forgotten by the world. When we give—whether it be our time, resources, prayers, or encouragement—we are aligning ourselves with YHWH’s heart. We become His hands and feet, serving His beloved children across the world.

These individuals are our brothers and sisters in truth, our family in Messiah, and the very people for whom YHWH’s heart beats. Each child who receives a copy of the HalleluYah Scriptures, each widow who finds comfort through your prayers, and each believer who gains access to the Word of YHWH for the first time is a testimony of His truthfulness.

The orphans dream of a brighter future where they can receive an education, grow up in a safe environment, and become productive members of their community. The widows, despite their suffering, hold on to the trust that they will be able to live their remaining years with dignity and peace. It is within our power to help turn these dreams into reality.

Every month, we aim to provide: Rice, maize, vegetables, and other essentials to keep them healthy. Many of these children lack even the most basic clothing. Access to safe drinking water and soap is critical. Education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty, but without supplies, many children cannot attend school.

Your donations have helped us ensure these children do not go to bed hungry and that they have the support they need to grow and thrive.

“I lift up my eyes to the hills; Where does my help come from? My help comes from YHWH, Maker of the shamayim and earth.” Tehillim/Psalms 121:1-2

To break the cycle of poverty and dependence, we are setting up self-sufficiency programs that will allow these children to grow their own food and provide for themselves over time. Establishing vegetable gardens and maize farms to provide a stable food source. Chickens for eggs, goats for milk and meat, and cows for dairy and breeding. Teaching older children’s skills like farming, animal care, and small business management.

“Because he clings to Me in love, therefore I deliver him; I exalt him, because he has known my Name. When he calls on Me ,I answer him; I am with him in distress; I deliver him and esteem him.” -Psalm/Tehillim 91:14-15

We recognize the extraordinary circumstances faced by these orphans and widows. The violence and poverty that have taken so much from them are challenges that many of us can scarcely imagine. Yet, in the face of these hardships, they continue to persevere. Their strength and resilience are truly inspiring, and it is our moral duty to stand with them in their time of need.

We are expanding our mission to do more work in India and a new urgent need in Malawi. We have connected with a group of 400 believers in the north of India, all of whom are in urgent need of basic necessities. Recently, we sent a large shipment of HalleluYah Scriptures for them to freely share within their communities, as they continue to spread the Truth. These believers are part of various groups across different areas, and many are facing extreme hardships, struggling to afford even the most basic essentials. Unlike other regions where self-sufficiency programs can be developed, the high cost of land in India makes such initiatives unattainable, leaving many in a constant state of need.

We urge you to consider supporting Brother Phillips and his group as they work to care for orphans and widows in Africa. These vulnerable individuals have suffered greatly, and their needs are urgent. By coming together and extending our compassion and resources, we can help alleviate their suffering and offer them a chance at a better life. When we extend our hands to help the widow and orphan, we are honoring our Father in Shamayim and fulfilling His command.

One of the key areas of our focus is supporting orphans and widows, particularly in regions where violence and poverty have left deep scars. By providing them with the resources they need—food, shelter, education, and natural medical care—we are helping to restore their sense of trust and security. We are also working to create self-sufficiency initiatives that empower them to build better futures for themselves and their families.

As we continue on this journey of compassion and service, we are reminded of the profound privilege it is to walk alongside those who are marginalized and overlooked by society. Their resilience and unwavering trust inspire us to strive for greater equity and justice in our efforts to alleviate suffering and promote social justice. During this season, there is a profound sense of gratitude permeating the air. The community is filled with joy and praise for the birekoth bestowed upon them during a recent visit. Amidst this atmosphere of celebration, there is tangible evidence of YHWH’s provision and abundance evident in the flourishing of livestock and crops.

Many buildings have been completed for orphans, widows and the truly poor and needy. Bedding and mattress have been purchased and provided for them as well.
