“For so the Master has commanded us, ‘I have appointed you to be a light to the gentiles, that you should be for deliverance to the ends of the earth.’And when the gentiles heard this, they were glad and praised the Word of YHWH. And as many as had been appointed to everlasting ḥai believed.”- Acts / Ma’asĕh 13:48-49.
May the Name of the Most High be praised forever as He has done an incredible thing in opening up a huge opportunity in Hong Kong, China and Indonesia for believers who are from these countries. We praise His Name and thank our wonderful Savior for allowing us to spread The Word into these countries. A very special thank you to believers who donated to get free copies into these countries. The HalleluYah Scriptures project, which includes all those on the prayer and fasting list, have been praying for years to get a large shipment into these countries and halleluYah, it has happened by the hand of the Most High! We stand in awe with this mighty moving in these countries, halleluYah. We joyfully share with you some pictures of believers from the Hong Kong, China, Japan and Indonesia. We have just arranged a large shipment for this work and are praying to send another large shipment of 5,000 copies that are needed.
Our volunteer in Hong Kong has been approached by some friends in leadership who told her, “how hungry the churches there are for Bibles.” These are the congregations that minister to low-income domestic helpers and refugees. They have a need for at least 5,000 bibles right now and have about 30 people coming in each month, which includes Chinese and those from Indonesia.
There is not a more urgent time than now, for there is an urgency to get His Word into the hands of as many as possible who have no means or options of affording – this is the HalleluYah Scriptures mission. HalleluYah.
“Let us go into the neighbouring towns, so that I proclaim there also, because for this I have come forth.” Marqos/Mark 1:38
One missionary pastor in Hong Kong has emailed us and described the great needs for Bibles in the areas. He said, “…. I help low income domestic workers and Chinese people to learn about our [Messiah]. They want to learn Hebrew to get closer to understanding how to walk with [the Almighty]. People we reach out to consist of Filipino and Indonesian foreign workers (300,000 people), some Jewish people, mainland Chinese residents and Hong Kong Chinese and Japanese residents… I work with many Pastors as we coordinate to get Bibles for many workers and locals. Can you help us train using your Bible..?”
Aside from Hong Kong, there are also urgent needs for bibles in Indonesia and Japan.
We, as a team, have been praying for many years to be able to send large shipments into these countries, as we knew that believers were under huge persecution and that it would not be easy to reach the masses, as they have internet and governmental control. We felt it would need to come through other believers and it would mean they would be putting their lives at risk in getting free copies into the hands of those who are in Truth or seeking Truth. We really are so excited to be able to be used in this special mission.
Many are now aware that the Father and His Son have Names and want to learn more of the Hebrew roots. We are finding many in persecuted countries wanting to know more, but even more, they want His Word. We, as a team, rejoice over the openings that are happening in this project with opportunities like this. Nothing can stop the Father moving in these countries, as many are crying out to Him, for His Word and He will always answer those that seek and cry out to Him.
“Therefore, go and make talmidim of all the nations, immersing them in the Name of the Father and of the Bĕn and of the Ruaḥ ha’Qodesh, teaching them to guard all that I have commanded you. And see, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”Amĕn. – Matthew / Mattithyahu 28:19-20
Governments and wicked people work hard to stop His people receiving His Word freely, doing all they can to stop His Word reaching those in need by lying and deceiving people and also planning evil upon their beds. It is so sad that people who call themselves believers are involved in such evil. We, as a team, leave this in the Father’s hands, as He will deal with those that come against His Word and work, for nothing will stop His plans. HalleluYah!
His people have always been under persecution through the years, but it has worsened in some of the most populous countries of the world: China, Indonesia, Hong Kong and India, putting many believers at risk for their beliefs. We have been told of a number of terrible stories of abuse towards those following His Ways.
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of Elohim, to those believing in His Name, who were born, not of blood nor of the desire of flesh nor of the desire of man, but of Elohim. And the Word became flesh and pitched His tent among us, and we saw His esteem, esteem as of an only brought-fourth of a father, complete in favour and truth.” – Yoḥanan / John 1:12-14
Messianic believers in numerous countries are facing the biggest threat since the rise of many false religions, but it is faithful believers all over the world who are doing all they can to make sure that our brothers and sisters in these persecuted countries are provided for with the Best Gift they could ever own, as our comfort is in His Word and we all know His Word has all the answers, for it is His Love Letter to us all. Believers really need His Word and it is a kind deed in gifting a free copy to those that have no means of affording.
Believers in persecuted countries have to hide their belief, otherwise it will not just be them have their lives taken, but all their families and extended families are at risk. Most of us would give our lives up freely, but most are not willing to put their families or extended families at risk. That is why this work is done in a way that does not put lives at risk.
Many are attacked, oppressed and abused for His Truth. We know a number of fellowships have been burned down and attacked in ways that are simply not good. Wicked people hide in wait for believers coming out of their fellowship just to attack and hurt them – they do not have the freedom as we in the western world have. There is little freedom for them or their families, but they are led by the Ruach (Spirit) to spread His Word and Truth, but it has to be done the right way with YHWH being in control.
Under the Cultural Revolution ushered in by China’s former leader Mao Zedong between 1966 and 1976, all forms of religion were banned and this goes for a number of other countries who have banned Truth and His Word.
“But brothers, I make known to you the Good News, which I brought as Good News to you, which also received, and in which you stand, through which also you are being saved, if you hold fast that Word I brought as Good News to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.” – 1 Corinthians / Qorin’tiyim 1 15:1-2
“It’s a turning point for China, certainly, and for relations between Believers and Muslims in many countries. The last two years have been an inflection point for Indonesia and Myanmar, too due to the rise of militant atheism, radical Islam and nationalism.” We have been able to get a small number of free copies into Myanmar and are working to get more free copies to this country. Please keep them in your prayers.
In Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim-majority country, religious extremism remains a problem and many complain of a creeping Islamisation in politics, where political actors are tapping the mobilization efforts of conservatives and hardliners to further their own interests. This is another reason we need to reach these brothers and sisters. We have been able to send a steady stream of copies over the years until now.
A good number of believers are killed, imprisoned or sent to labor camps. In modern China, state-approved religious organisations are tolerated, but the ruling Communist Party – which is officially atheist – has stepped up efforts to control the practice of those who want to follow Biblical Truth. There are complaints that the crackdown on underground fellowships and other unsanctioned activities have intensified under the administration of President Xi Jinping.
“For if I bring the Good News, it is no boasting for me, for necessity is laid on me, and it is woe to me if I do not bring the Good News! For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward, but if not Voluntarily, I am entrusted with a management.” – 1 Corinthians / Qorin’tiyim 1 9:16-17
Our brothers and sisters in the 3rd World countries and those in prison or homeless in the western world do not have options like we all do and truly are so desperate. This project makes us weep to hear how those who are His, have never seen nor owned a copy of His Word. It is truly lamenting to hear their stories. We literally weep as the Father has to hear their cries daily. We honestly believe that there is nothing more important than His Word, as it is everlasting and life-changing.
As we have said, there is no better gift than His Word. Most of us, when we are low or down, can go and find comfort in His Word, but these people in Hong Kong, China and Indonesia and surround countries do not have that option at all and that is so sad and heartbreaking, which is why this project is very urgent and important. Giving a copy of His Love Letter is truly life-changing for these brothers and sisters. They get to hold it and hug it and praise Him every day for the HalleluYah Scriptures and for the person who helped to make it happen.
We would like to do a larger print run and have the printers ship the stock directly to the people we are working with as it saves on extra costs. We are always prayerful and watchful over all the donations and the stock. We do not have unlimited copies nor donations, so we have to be very prayerful and seek the Father on each order. We have just sent a large shipment to Hong Kong for China and Indonesia.
“And I say to you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Bĕn of Adam shall also confess him before the messengers of Elohim. But he that has denied Me before men shall be denied before the messengers of Elohim.” – Luke / Loqas 12:8-9
