“Remember the prisoners as if chained with them, and those being mistreated, since you yourselves also are in the Body.” (Hebrews 13:3). We could not have done this without you. Thank you from the Most High, and thank you from us, His lowly willing servants. We praise the Most High for all He has done in helping prisoners all over the world to receive His Word freely. We have enjoyed our time working with prisoners for the past 13 years, and it has been a great honor in coming to know many of them and their walk in Truth. It has been painful at times to learn about their lives and how they arrived at the place they are in.
Many tears have been cried over the years, but it is important to understand that it is the Father that does all this work and that we, as a team, are just vessels, lowly willing servants, serving the Father and you, His children.
Please never thank us or praise us, as we are not in any need of any thanks. It is a wicked thing to take praise that belongs to the Most High and you will not find anyone on this team seeking praise for themselves.
The HalleluYah Scriptures Bible belongs to the Most High and it is He that helps those in need. It is He that helps the poor and needy, the orphans, widows, lepers, and all those that call out to Him.
We have received thousands of letters over the years from prisoners and they have been very touching. We have a full-time sister that worked with the prisoners and mail and it was the highlight of her life. She was so dedicated to writing to many prisoners over the years.
“For you shall be a refuge to the poor, a refuge to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm, a shade from the heat. For the spirit of the ruthless is like a storm against the wall” YeshaYahu (Isaiah) 25: 4
The HalleluYah Scriptures has sent tens of thousands of free copies to many prison ministries and groups worldwide who take them into prison. We are very close to many of these ministries who know the work the HalleluYah Scriptures Project has done over the years and have considered it a great honor to receive such materials.
Brothers Being Immersed In Prison – HalleluYah.
Elohim makes a home for the lonely; He brings out into prosperity those who are bound with chains; only the rebellious shall dwell in a dry land.” (Psalm 68:6)
Sending the HalleluYah Scriptures to prisoners each day. A rewarding work for the Father and His people the prisoners. HalleluYah.
HalleluYah for the HalleluYah Scriptures being taken into the prisons! This group had a lovely Passover with the prisoners and were able to take in free HalleluYah Scriptures to the prisoners who loved them so much and were very thankful to you, our supporters, for aiding them in getting a free copy. On behalf of them, THANK YOU.
Giving free copies of the HalleluYah Scriptures to chaplains to share with those who requested a copy is a great honor. The HalleluYah Scriptures has, and still does, send out thousands of free copies to Chapains and prison ministries all over the world for believers to take into prison and share with those in need as well as cataloging a copy into many thousands of prisons.
Let us pray for this special group and also let us not forget the prisoners, as they need our prayers and support, and we want to say a heartfelt deep thank you to all those that have donated to allow believers in prison to receive freely. Where possible, we send in other materials for them to read and learn from, as YHWH is a wonderful Teacher.
We want to share just a few letters from those we work closely with, and some, for many years. Kindly see them in this article.
This first group is where your stamps, paper and envelope support goes and it has benefited them so much and has enabled them to do so much more for prisoners.
Here is their letter and they and many are witnesses to the work with Prisoners.
Brothers & Sisters,
Our Prison Ministry was created in 1996 and is the nation’s largest Sabbath-keeping prison ministry. We serve over 5,000 Sabbath-keeping prisoners across the USA in 43 states and over 400 prisons. We have volunteers in many of those states who bring services and support to inmates of our faith, and we also have regular contact and an excellent relationship with hundreds of prison chaplains.
There are relatively few Sabbath-keeping prison ministries, and we are different than most of them. Whereas other ministries primarily or only send out a few teaching articles or a newsletter, we see to all of the religious needs possible of our inmate brothers and sisters. About 25 years ago we noticed that our ministry was just like others, but the many diverse and material needs of believers behind bars were virtually not being met.
Free bibles, concordances, tallitoth, volunteers, Passover and worship service supplies, calendars, pen-pals of our faith, and many other things were almost unobtainable for Sabbath-keeping prisoners. So, we decided to fix that. Over the last 2 ½ decades, we have provided tens of thousands of these needy people with all of these things, and more.
Of course, doing this is much more expensive than just sending out a newsletter or tract, as most prison ministries do. Our cost per inmate served is well over 10 times that of other prison ministries and is incredibly time-consuming. However, somehow the Most-High has always provided for our needs and has blessed us in this work. One of the ways in which He has blessed us greatly is by putting us in contact with the HalleluYah Scriptures.
Above is the Spanish Edition which has become popular in the prisons.
For over a decade, we were paying $20 per copy, but had to buy in bulk, plus postage/packing on top of this for another Restored Names Bible for each inmate who requested one, and we purchased and sent many hundreds of copies into the prisons over the years.
This cost took an enormous percentage of our annual funds, as you can imagine, and that money naturally limited what we could allocate to our other programs. Last year, we were contacted by the HalleluYah Scriptures, and they offered to provide all of our inmates who requested a copy.
It seemed apparent to us also that they were not quite able to keep up with the immense and growing numbers of their own inmate requests in the USA, as they are not just a full-time prison-ministry as we are, and they are so busy with providing their bibles to so many other needy groups and people around the world.
So, we offered, in-turn, to take over the task of filling the majority of their prisoner requests in the USA.
Because it is all we do, and because we have so much contact throughout the prison systems with chaplains and inmates alike, such an arrangement would not be a problem for us and would lessen that burden for HalleluYah Scriptures. It seemed a “match made in heaven.” Since then, we have literally received pallets full of free HalleluYah Scriptures from them and have already mailed out many hundreds of copies to Sabbath-keeping prisoners across the country.
We are now sending their Bibles to both the inmates who request them from us, and those who request them from HalleluYah Scriptures directly. The HalleluYah Scriptures team have even graciously contributed to our shipping costs and postage – in the form of stamps, digital postage, paper, and envelopes – to distribute their materials.
We also provide their bibles to prison chaplains and volunteers who request them for their inmates and have hand-delivered many dozens of copies to Sabbath-keeping prisoners we minister to directly as volunteers ourselves. This arrangement seems to be working wonderfully and benefits all. For just one instance of that, because of the funds we have saved on Bibles, we were able to send out over 3,000 Passover packages to Sabbath-observant inmates this year – a 20% increase over the last few years.
The team at HalleluYah Scriptures is tiny and they, like us, take no pay for their work. Our reward is in helping those people of YHWH who are less fortunate or are in dire need. We are all unpaid volunteers, as are those kind people who assist us in so many diverse ways in both of our ministries across the country and around the world.
We all have to work with and depend upon one another. If we did not, the things we do could not be done. People say we make bible production and prison ministry look simple and easy, but it is certainly not. It is expensive and complicated, requiring knowledge and experience in navigating the world’s governments and institutions. We work terribly long days and have time for little else but helping YHWH’s people – but we ask no more than that and YHWH’s blessing on what we do, and we are so grateful for our donors and those who support us in these sacred tasks.
B’shalom, The team at Prison Ministries – Lisa
We firstly praise the Most High for this prisoner ministry. We praise the Father for the HalleluYah Scriptures supporters who have made this happen. You have done an amazing thing with your donations. As shared on the order pages ALL donations up and above the costs go to printing and shipping free copies to those who cannot afford. It is easy to understand as it is Scripture, there are no profits as they go into printing and shipping more copies. Thank you for allowing us to do this work.
We truly consider it the greatest honor to serve prisoners. We try our best over the years and sometimes mail goes missing or misplaced, but the prisoners always let us know if they have not received a copy. It takes a lot of time to read prisoners letters on top of other work that needs to be done, so that is why having an independent ministry take this over, for the Father and prisoners, has helped a lot. They do an amazing job and we have been able to send them hundreds upon hundreds of free copies.
We do work with a number of Chaplains and prisons to get boxes of stock to those in need. With the hours given each day, 6 days a week, there is a huge amount of work to get through and we try our best.

Brothers work hard to see those in need receive the Father’s Word, as they see it as something very important and a must for a believer to have in their hands.
Your comments really encourage us and help us to do this work, and really are so lovely and we offer each one up to the Most High, as they are His. More than ever we need you in these last days so we can get as many materials out as possible around the world. Many we deal with cannot download copies, as they do not have the means and they need a hard copy in their hands.
Brothers and Sisters who travel around in 3rd world countries visit those who are so poor and needy and who cannot afford a copy of His Word, so a download is no good to them or prisoners which is why getting His Word into as many hands as possible is what is all important and urgent.
A time is coming soon when we will not be able to do this work so openly, as the world is changing fast and He needs His people to look to Him to guide them through what is coming, because once it starts, there is no turning back.
