Its landscape is a tapestry of lush forests, sprawling savannas, and majestic mountains, providing a home to a multitude of ethnic groups, each with its own unique traditions and customs.

Yet, beneath the veneer of natural splendor lies a troubled history marred by political conflict, environmental degradation, and the devastating toll of the AIDS epidemic. For many years, these challenges served as formidable barriers to progress and growth, casting a shadow over the trusts and aspirations of the Ugandan people.

‘Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not look around, for I am your Elohim. I shall strengthen you, I shall also help you, I shall also uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.’ Yeshayahu / Isaiah 41:10

The specter of political instability loomed large over the nation, with periods of violence and unrest threatening to derail any semblance of development. Coupled with environmental problems such as deforestation, soil erosion, and water pollution, Uganda faced an uphill battle in its quest for sustainable growth and prosperity.

Perhaps most devastating of all was the scourge of HIV/AIDS, which ravaged communities across the country, leaving behind a trail of suffering and heartbreak. With millions of lives lost to the disease, Uganda found itself grappling with an unprecedented public health crisis, further exacerbating its already precarious situation.

However, amidst the darkness, a glimmer of trust began to emerge on the horizon. With the dawn of the 21st century came a newfound determination to overcome the challenges that had long plagued the nation. Through a combination of prudent governance, strategic investment, and international cooperation, Uganda embarked on a path of transformation and renewal.

In recent years, the fruits of these efforts have become increasingly apparent, as Uganda has emerged as one of the fastest-growing economies on the African continent. Buoyed by robust agricultural production, expanding infrastructure, and a burgeoning tourism industry, the country has experienced steady economic growth, lifting millions out of poverty and providing trust for a brighter future.

Yet, despite these strides forward, challenges remain. Political tensions persist, and the specter of environmental degradation continues to cast a shadow over the nation’s development trajectory. Moreover, the scars of the AIDS epidemic continue to linger, reminding us of the need for continued vigilance and investment in public health initiatives.

However, amidst this prevailing hearty fervor, a stark reality looms large: the pervasive presence of poverty, which affects nearly 41% of Uganda’s population, equating to almost 19 million individuals living below the poverty line. This sobering statistic underscores the formidable challenge faced by those seeking to distribute Scriptures freely and equitably across the country.

The imperative to provide HalleluYah Scriptures at no cost to those in need is not merely a matter of convenience, but a moral imperative rooted in the principles of compassion and justice. For many impoverished Ugandans, the prospect of purchasing a Bible or other religious texts is simply beyond their means, placing the transformative power of these sacred writings tantalizingly out of reach. The project has sent a huge number of pallets and stock sent into Uganda. Many lives have been changed forever. The project also works with many orphans and widows.

Yet, in the face of these daunting obstacles, there exists a steadfast determination to overcome adversity and ensure that the Word of Elohim is made accessible to all, regardless of their socio-economic status. Through the concerted efforts of individuals, organizations, and communities both within Uganda and abroad, initiatives have been launched to provide free Scriptures to those who need them most.

“Baruḵ is he who considers the poor; YHWH delivers him in a day of evil. YHWH guards him and keep him alive; He is baruḵ on the earth, And You do not hand him over to the desire of his enemies.” Tehillim / Psalm 41:1-2.

Indeed, there are those who seek to silence the proclamation of Elohim’s Word, enacting laws and restrictions that hinder its dissemination and there is so called believers that are doing all they can to destroy the Father’s Word, but they are fighting against YHWH and we know what happened to those who do wicked things like this. Time is at hand where this project will not be available publicly for laws are being passed to ban the Bible. Check out Canada’s new law and many countries in the world have banned the Bible.

In Nigeria, a sense of jubilation permeates the air as the HalleluYah Scriptures team collaborates with our brothers and sisters to bring the Word of YHWH to those in need. Through concerted efforts, we are distributing not only Scriptures but also various reading materials and children’s books to the poor and needy across the nation. Most pallets just arrived into Nigeria as the needs are urgent in this country.

This endeavor is more than just a distribution of physical texts; it represents a beacon of trust amidst the darkness that often shrouds the lives of many Nigerians. In a country grappling with numerous challenges, including poverty, insecurity, and social unrest, the Word of YHWH serves as a source of light and guidance, offering unity and inspiration to those in need.

Each copy of YHWH’s Word distributed has the potential to illuminate hearts and minds, bringing about transformation on an individual and familial level. It is a covenant to the power of trust and community, as believers come together to share the message of trust and redemption with those who need it most.

As we embark on this mission, our prayers are fervent and unwavering. We pray that every copy of YHWH’s Word will serve as a catalyst for change, bringing light into the lives of individuals and families, one person at a time. However, amidst this celebration, there is a palpable sense of urgency—a recognition that our efforts, though substantial, are but a drop in the ocean compared to the vast population of Nigeria alone.

With approximately 211 million people calling Nigeria home, it is the most populous country in Africa, presenting both an incredible opportunity and an immense challenge in our mission to spread the Word of YHWH. While we are grateful for the generosity of our benefactors in Mashiach, who have willingly shared the abundance of their labor to support our endeavors, we are acutely aware of the magnitude of the task that lies before us.

The realization that there are millions of lives in Nigeria alone who have yet to encounter the life-transforming message of YHWH’s Word fuels our sense of urgency and purpose. It compels us to redouble our efforts, to expand our reach, and to deepen our impact, knowing that the stakes could not be higher.

For every family we have reached, there are countless more who are still waiting to receive the light of YHWH’s Word into their homes and hearts. Their hearty hunger and thirst cannot be ignored, and it is incumbent upon us to respond with compassion and determination.

“Look, so shall the man be baruḵ who reveres YHWH. YHWH shall baraḵ you out of Tsiyon, and let you see the good of Yerushalayim all the days of your life.” Tehillim 128:4-5
