"But you, stay in what you have learned and trusted, having known from whom you have learned, and that from a child you have known the Qodesh Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for deliverance through belief in Mashiaḥ Yahshua.
All Scripture is breathed by Elohim and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for straightening, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of Elohim might be fitted, equipped for every good work." 2 Tim 3:14-17.
HalleluYah, His Word is so exciting and so alive. The HalleluYah Scriptures project is offering Basic Biblical Hebrew lessons for those who want to learn Hebrew.
We feel this is very important and will help many to understand His Word so that there is less confusion. Sadly, there are many people who think they know Hebrew and with a few words under their belt or with the help of their concordance they are off teaching people and bringing confusion to His Word.
We feel it is important to learn from His Word and also the original language to get a better understanding of His Love Letter - The HalleluYah Scriptures.
The primary reason that we are offering the Biblical Hebrew Flash Cards and lessons and why believers should go to the effort to learn Biblical Hebrew is so that one can read the Words of Scripture in their original language for themselves, rather than trust someone else to translate or interpret the Scriptures for them.
All the major texts and scrolls including the Dead Sea Scrolls are penned in what is commonly called Biblical Hebrew. This is why the HalleluYah Scriptures Parallel Version uses this particular version of Hebrew.
The differing versions of Hebrew are shown below in this chart:
With computer software available to many, it can help in learning Hebrew, but as one said many years ago, "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing," and most software only supplies the root words in the Hebrew which can mislead the reader into thinking they know Hebrew...
"If you present these to the brothers, you shall be a good servant of Yahushua ha'Mashiaḥ, being nourished in the words of belief and of the good teaching which you have followed closely." 1 Tim 4:6
The HalleluYah Scriptures translation team has near 25 years of Biblical Hebrew and Aramaic experience and although this is quite small in the overall picture of the language, it is enough to teach the basics.
For a start, we are offering special learning cards with the Hebrew Aleph Beth, which will aid in learning and phonetically pronounce the letters and Hebrew words which will make it easier for those learning.
Any donations after covering costs go to helping the project.
